The Holy Spirit Church in Hévíz was designed by the architect János Bocskay, and it was consecrated in 1999. The seven towers of the building symbolize the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit. The interior is fan-shaped, and the benches are situated in a semi-circle around the altar. The main altar carved of wood depicts the symbol of the Holy Spirit: a dove, and the side altars are also dove-shaped. The imposing building – which can hold about 1000 people – combines the elements of the Gothic and modern styles.

About the organ

The organ of the Holy Spirit Church in Hévíz was constructed by the already closed but once significant Aquincum Organ Factory, Budapest in 2000. It is a 36-stop mechanical-tracker instrument with a slide chest and an electric stop system. In March 2020, a significant refurbishment and tonal regulation of the organ was finished by the BKM Organ Manufactory, Dunakeszi, Hungary.
